You purchased an eSIM and received an email from us with the eSIM parameters. Below are the installation instructions; follow them to successfully install and activate your eSIM.
eSIM Installation - Quick
Take the email with the eSIM: it contains LPA, QR code, (in iOS 17.4+) the "Install on iPhone" button, as well as SM-DP+ and Activation Code for manual installation.
1) iPhone with one tap (iOS 17.4+)
- Open the email → tap "INSTALL ON IPHONE (iOS 17.4+)".
- Confirm the profile installation → wait for the message Done.
- Enable the profile for Cellular Data and, when traveling, Data Roaming.
If the link does not open (some email clients block it) - use section 2 (QR) or section 3 (manual via SM-DP+).
2) Installation via QR code (iOS and Android)
iPhone
- Open Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM.
- Select Use QR Code and point the camera at the QR from the email.
- Confirm the installation → specify the profile for Data.
Android (Pixel / Samsung, etc.)
- Open Settings → Network & Internet / Connections → SIM / SIM Manager → Add eSIM.
- Select Scan QR Code → point the camera at the QR from the email.
- Confirm the installation → assign the line for data.
3) Manually via SM-DP+ and Activation Code (Android)
- Settings → SIM / SIM Manager → Add eSIM → Use Activation Code / Enter Manually.
-
Enter from the email:
-
SM-DP+ ADDRESS
- ACTIVATION CODE
- Confirm the installation → wait for profile activation.
On some models, the Confirmation code field is not required. If prompted, leave it blank or enter the code from the email (if specified).
4) Quick start after installation (for all)
- Open Settings → Mobile Data / Cellular and select the eSIM line for data.
- For travel, enable Data Roaming.
- If the internet does not appear - check the APN from the email. (Settings → Mobile Network → Access Point Names/APN).
5) Useful to know from the email

- LPA - universal installation string (can be used by apps/services).
- QR CODE - the fastest way for iOS/Android.
- iOS button (iOS 17.4+) - one-click installation (may be blocked by email client).
- ICCID / IMSI / MSISDN - profile/number identifiers (for support).
- SMDP STATUS / ESIM STATUS - technical provisioning statuses.
- VALID UNTIL - activation/use period.
- TARIFF / LOCATION / DURATION / VOLUME - your plan parameters.
6) If something went wrong
- Internet during installation: Wi-Fi or mobile data is required.
- Repeat installation: turn Airplane Mode on/off or restart the phone.
- Line assignment: ensure the eSIM is selected for data.
- Roaming: enable Data Roaming (for travel).
- APN: verify the APN from the email.
- Lock status iPhone: Settings → About This Device → SIM Restrictions = No Restrictions.
- Camera/QR: if the camera does not read the QR from the email - save the image and open it from the gallery, or switch to manual entry (section 3).
- Deadlines: check VALID UNTIL; if expired - request reissuance.
7) How to check if my phone supports eSIM (quickest check)
8) Where to check the status after installation
Notes
- Some email applications hide/block the iOS installation buttons - this is not an eSIM error. In this case, use QR or manual entry.
- For some devices (especially carrier-locked ones), the phone must be unlocked from carrier binding.
- You can store multiple eSIM profiles, but usually only 1-2 can be active simultaneously (depends on the model).
Need help?
If the eSIM does not activate after the above steps - send us a screenshot of the error, phone model, model code/SKU (if known), and eSIM/APN parameters page to email mp@cashcom.org. We will guide you on the next steps in 1-2 steps.
